Moby Dick Cover Design using Visual Metaphors

In Moby Dick white was depicted as a symbol of evil (White Whale). However, the whale was never the bad guy in that story. Portraying Captain Ahab with his harpoon in white helps to further the narrative the whale is not the villain of the story.

Same initial concept as above. The boat, type, and harpoon is all cast in white. However, I outlined the whale in the harpoon line and placed the spearhead below the last leg of the 'M'.
